HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Job description

Bluestones360 are looking to recruit HGV2 Refuse Drivers for our client based in Matlock, Derbyshire
The role involves:-

• Working as a class 2 refuse driver
• Working in a team of 2/3 emptying domestic bins in housing estates
• Working for the local council
• Liaising with the general public
• Customer Service
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Assist the loaders with loading the bins onto the back of the lorry

Successful candidates will be required to;-

• Have a valid class 2 licence
• Hold a valid CPC card
• Have at least 6m refuse experience (preferred but not essential)
• Be flexible on work (driving and loading but always paid as a driver)

Please note: As above, you may occasionally be required to assist with loader duties so you will need to have the flexibility to carry these duties out.Shifts/hours/pay
Monday - Friday 0600 - 1500 (Aprox)
£15.74 per hourTime and a half after 8 hours per dayTime and a half SaturdayDouble time Sunday and Bank Holidays
This is a long term position with temp to perms roles available for suitable candidates
Full uniform will be issued
