About the Service

We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of autistic adults across Fife. Currently supporting over 60 individuals, our services are tailored to the unique needs of each person across a variety of community and residential settings.

Because we provide personalized care, our environments range in complexity and staffing ratios-including dedicated 1:1 and 2:1 support structures.

Please Note: Due to the varying complexity of these services, we are explicitly seeking confident, experienced support professionals who can hit the ground running, manage challenging situations with empathy, and provide high-quality, person-centered care.

The Role

As a Support Worker in our Housing Support and Supported Living teams, you won't just be providing care-you will be enabling independence.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing tailored emotional and practical support based on individual care plans.

  • Assisting with daily living skills, housing support, and community integration.

  • Working confidently within 1:1 and 2:1 staffing ratios to support individuals with diverse and sometimes complex needs.

  • Maintaining a calm, structured, and encouraging environment.

What We Are Looking For
  • Experience is Essential: You must have a solid background in social care, specifically supporting autistic individuals or working within complex care environments.

  • Confidence & Resilience: The ability to handle complex and challenging behaviors with a calm, professional, and positive approach.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied shift pattern including days, evenings, and sleepover shifts.

  • Values-Driven: A genuine commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and respect for the people we support.

What We Offer
  • Clear Pay Progression: A structured pay scale that rewards your commitment and lets you progress to £14.15 per hour at your own pace.

  • Generous Sleepover Allowance: Earn an extra £107.60 for every sleepover shift completed.

  • Flexibility: Work-life balance with both full-time and part-time positions available.

  • Supportive Environment: Comprehensive induction, continuous professional development, and a team that has your back.
