An interesting job opportunity has arisen at City Auctioneering for extra porters with forklift experience due to the increase in business.

Suitable applicants should possess the following:

  • 4. An understanding of online selling is an advantage

The job comprises

  • 1. Warehouse work - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, with 30-minute lunchbreak
  • 2. Manual handling for sale preparation
  • 3. Able bodied, as some lifting is required, very physical job
  • 4. Forklift driver would be an advantage (not essential)
  • 5. Dealing with a wide assortment of items from car spares to electrical stock, ever changing, no two days the same.
  • 6. To write clear and precise descriptions for catalogue. Training will be given on the inhouse description style (neat handwriting is prefered).
  • 7. Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • 8. Photographing items for online sale catalogue
  • 9. Communicating with buyers face to face to manage their collection of goods after the auctions
  • 10. Carefully selecting the clients items and ensuring they are correctly and safely packaged ready for courier collection.

Hourly wage open to discussion and, dependent on experience.
