HGV Class 2 Driver – Daventry (NN11 8PB)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent weekday work, competitive rates of pay, and ongoing assignments with a leading logistics operation.

This role will suit candidates who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday – Friday
• 06:00 start time
• 10–12 hour shifts

Pay Rate:

• £15.55 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver will be:

• Delivering flooring products to customers
• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading goods where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be an HGV Class 2 Driver are:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience delivering flooring, construction materials, or palletised goods

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
