Job Summary
As an Investment Specialist & Team Lead in our UK private banking business, you will lead in communicating market strategy and investment knowledge to sophisticated clients and investment committees during portfolio reviews and investment forums, and consult with clients to determine their portfolio objectives and long‐term asset allocations. Our investment/product universe includes Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives and global multi‐asset mandates.

Job Responsibilities

Managing a team of 5‐10 Investment Specialists based in London

Playing a leading role in the investment dialogue with clients

Advising clients on holistic asset allocation, portfolio construction and tactical allocation shifts

Executing investment solutions in client accounts in accordance with client plans, including Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Foreign Exchange and traditional brokerage transactions

Generating new business and regional expansion by participating in opportunities with the EMEA Integrated Team and Senior Management

Performing sales management, including coordination of RFPs, pitches, road shows and proposals

Understanding JPMorgan platform, solutions and investment philosophy

Interacting effectively with internal product partners, banking teams, risk and compliance, marketing and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Significant relevant market experience with ultra high net worth clients

Prior management experience

A proven track record of building trust with clients and managing relationships internally and externally

Excellent communication skills—articulate verbally and on paper, able to generate trust through credible discussion on investment matters

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Personality marked by tenacity and ambition with demonstrated success in dealing with a wide range of clients

Superior analytical skills and strong computer skills

Non‐commissioned background or willingness to move to such a structure

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Asset allocation / multi‐asset class portfolio or sales experience is favourable

Ability to thrive in an internal culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership and entrepreneurship
