Job description
International Communications Lead, Prime & Delivery Experience, International Stores Comms Hub
Job ID: 10447793 | Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch)
Amazon is seeking a seasoned communications leader to join its International Stores Communications team based in London, UK. This role will own the international communications strategy for two of Amazon's most high‐profile and commercially significant consumer propositions — Prime membership and Delivery Experience (DEX) — spanning 29+ countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. These programmes are central to Amazon's international growth, customer retention, and brand reputation.
As part of a central hub team, you will define and own the international communications strategy while directing the strategic framework that in‐country comms teams across 29+ countries localize and execute. You will serve as the single‐threaded topic lead for these international businesses, set the strategic direction for both proactive and reactive communications, design and implement scalable frameworks for multi‐market coordination, and serve as the strategic bridge and decision‐making point between global comms leads and in‐country teams. This role requires close collaboration with US‐based comms counterparts, engagement with senior stakeholders across the business, and the ability to influence strategic decisions that impact brand reputation. The position directly manages a team of two, while supporting a dotted‐line network of in‐country communicators across 29+ markets — setting standards, frameworks, and strategic direction adopted by local teams.
Key Job Responsibilities
Own the international narrative and positioning for Prime and DEX, ensuring consistency and strategic coherence across locales
Define and deliver centralized comms strategies, messaging, and campaigns for Amazon Prime and Delivery Experience internationally
Serve as subject matter expert and provide strategic communications counsel to senior executives (Director and VP level)

Make high‐judgement calls on communications positioning during time‐sensitive situations with reputational risk
Manage reactive media inquiries, issues and crisis communications
Collaborate with US/global comms counterparts to align on worldwide strategies, ensuring relevancy and adaptability for local implementation
Coordinate cross‐functional communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned across workstreams including marketing, creators, legal, and policy
Drive long‐term communications planning aligned to business cycles, product roadmaps, and international expansion
Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
Establish measurement frameworks to evaluate communications impact and inform strategy iteration
