Job description

About the role
We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager to connect our people to our mission, priorities, and each other. Sitting in the People Experience team, you'll lead on creating clear, engaging, and inspiring communications that help everyone across the company feel informed, involved and aligned.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, team leads and subject matter experts to shape the messages that matter, from big picture strategy to day‐to‐day updates. You'll also bring rigour and creativity to how we communicate, making the complex feel simple and the important feel exciting.

This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role that sits at the heart of how we grow our culture, drive engagement and get things done. It is a fast‐moving, high‐visibility role that requires exceptional organisation, sound judgment and relentless follow‐through in a constantly evolving environment.

What you'll be doing

Partner with leaders across the business to shape how we communicate key messages on strategy, people, and culture, advising on what to say, how to say it, and when.

Lead the strategy and rollout of internal communications for big business changes – creating compelling cascades that are consistent, human, and clear.

Own and manage internal communications channels (e.g. Intranet, newsletters, Slack, Confluence), ensuring content is consistent, transparent, timely and engaging to support alignment and connection across the business.

Write and edit communications for senior leaders, from talking points and FAQs to emails and presentations. Flex between global company‐wide messages and local department‐level updates.

Partner on executive messaging and content for company‐wide forums and key moments, ensuring clarity and alignment across channels.

Build templates and repeatable tools that help others communicate well, especially for moments like product launches, people initiatives or change announcements.

Champion storytelling that brings our culture to life, identifying and sharing stories that spotlight our people, celebrate successes, and embody our Operating Principles.

Work cross‐functionally with relevant teams such as Brand, PR and Regional Communications roles to align on communication goals, channel strategy and messaging, including reactive messaging and issue response.

Use data and insight to assess effectiveness, monitor engagement and improve how we communicate over time – from surveys to feedback loops.

Monitor and develop strategies to influence our employee engagement and culture.

Reimagine how we communicate, exploring bold, creative ways to use existing and new channels, from Slack and video to newsletters and live events, keeping internal comms fresh, interesting and full of energy.

About You

5+ years professional experience in Internal Communications, ideally in fast‐paced global companies, ideally with experience in change communications.

Highly organised with exceptional project management skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.

Ability to engage and influence senior leaders with communication counsel and support, and communicate the voice of leaders.

A natural storyteller with outstanding writing and editing skills, bring our OPs, values and goals to life through clear, confident, and compelling content, tailored to suit different audiences and formats.

An eye for detail and a commitment to quality, you care about the craft of good communication.

Strong eye for business and an understanding of the key drivers for success across global teams within a growing technology company.

Strategic thinking paired with strong execution; you're able to zoom out to the big picture and then get stuck in, driving initiatives through to completion.

Energised by using data to shape smarter comms, track impact and show what's working – and why it matters.

Comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment as a trusted teammate, prioritising and balancing several projects at once.

Experience with organisational change and communicating key initiatives across multiple internal audiences.

Understanding of market trends and news cycles and/or experience in corporate, digital content, social media or public relations environments that include direct responsibility for social media support for executives.
