Stock Controller

Job description

A fast-paced food manufacturing business is looking for a Stock Controller to support warehouse and packaging operations across site. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working across production, warehouse, and dispatch environments.

The Role
You'll play a key role in ensuring packaging and consumables are accurately managed and available to support production operations. Duties will include:

Loading and unloading deliveries

Monitoring packaging stock levels and supporting ordering processes

Supplying packaging materials to production lines

Managing stock movements and system updates

Completing weekly and monthly stock takes

Creating and receipting purchase orders using ERP systems

Supporting dispatch and warehouse operations when required

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Assisting with waste management and site housekeeping activities

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within warehouse, stock control, or manufacturing environments. You should have:

FLT / PPT licences (Essential)

Stock and inventory management experience (Essential)

Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Desirable)

Strong organisational and planning skills

Good communication skills

Good numeracy and attention to detail

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A proactive attitude and willingness to support wider operations
