Job Overview
Be part of a vibrant celebration of Yiddish culture, music and community! Support a busy and dynamic cultural day by welcoming attendees, giving directions across the venue, answering questions, and helping sessions run smoothly. You'll help steward audiences between activities, support JMI staff with logistics, and ensure a friendly and calm environment throughout the day. JMI is developing a long-term team of trusted volunteers. While we'd love to build ongoing relationships, we fully understand that availability varies and welcome anyone able to offer their time.
Time Commitment
Sunday 30 August 2026, 9am - 8pm (full day or half day shifts, including setup and close)
Responsibilities
Welcome attendees and provide general assistance throughout the event.
Give directions across the venue and answer questions.
Assist staff with logistics and session support.
Help steward audiences between activities and maintain a friendly environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
No specific skills required; volunteers should be 18 or older, able to commit 4-8 hours per shift, and flexible with availability.
