Part‐Time Finance Manager (4 days) | Design‐led Fashion Scale‐up | Central London / Hybrid

As it enters its next phase of growth, it is seeking a commercially minded and hands‐on Finance Manager to lead the finance function and support the wider business.

The Role
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team as the #1 in finance, you will take ownership of the end‐to‐end finance function while acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation.

This is a broad and commercially focused role where you will strengthen financial governance, enhance controls and processes, and deliver timely, insight‐driven reporting. Working closely with teams across sales, merchandising, buying, and production, you will help drive informed decision‐making, improve profitability, optimise cash flow, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly management accounts, including stock accounting, accruals, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

Maintain accurate and fully reconciled financial records within Xero

Support the year‐end audit and statutory accounts process alongside external accountants

Own the end‐to‐end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Manage and reconcile company credit card expenses

Produce weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts

Monitor and manage FX exposure

Oversee reporting and reconciliations relating to invoice financing facilities

What we need to see (essential)

Experienced accountant with strong stock, management accounting and VAT experience

Exposure to international trade and foreign exchange

Minimum of 3 years' experience in SME, retail, FMCG, or equivalent

Strong AP, AR, reconciliation and cash flow management skills

Detail‐oriented, adaptable and keen to grow

What we'd like to see (non-essential)

Fashion, retail or FMCG experience

Experience with international trade, importing and foreign exchange

Exposure to invoice financing facilities

Experience with Xero

Background working in a lean finance team

The offer
Location: Central London

Working Pattern: 4 days a week (3 days in‐office, 1 day wfh)
