Part‐Time Credit Controller (Maternity Leave)
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Part‐time, flexible days/hours
Contract: Fixed‐term to cover maternity leave

Our client based in Sittingbourne is seeking a detail‐oriented and proactive Part‐Time Credit Controller to join their finance team on a fixed‐term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and has a strong track record of managing accounts receivable, reducing aged debt and maintaining positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage and chase outstanding invoices via phone and email.

Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment activity.

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Produce aged debt reports and provide regular updates to management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments.

Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Assist with month‐end processes as required.

About You

Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

A proactive and professional approach.
