Overview
We're seeking an Internal Communications Manager to play a pivotal role within our London Market Specialty business. This is a high‐impact, strategic position where you'll shape how we communicate, connect, and engage across the division and wider Gallagher group.

Working in close partnership with senior leadership, you'll help bring our vision and strategy to life – ensuring our people are aligned, informed, and inspired. This is an opportunity to influence at scale within a global business that values collaboration, innovation, and growth.

How you'll make an impact
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll lead the development and delivery of strategic internal communications that drive clarity, alignment, and engagement across the business.

You'll elevate how we communicate – translating complex priorities into compelling narratives, strengthening our channels, and delivering campaigns and experiences that resonate globally.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders , shaping and delivering high‐impact communications.

Developing and executing integrated communication strategies aligned to business priorities.

Creating compelling, audience-focused content that simplifies complexity and brings our strategy to life.

Leading high‐profile internal campaigns and events that engage and energise colleagues.

Driving communications for strategic initiatives , including Inclusion & Diversity programmes and Gallagher‐wide engagement projects.

Enhancing and evolving our internal channels and platforms to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness.

Playing a key role in embedding our vision and strategy across a global, matrixed organisation.

About You
You're an experienced and credible communications professional who thrives in a fast‐paced, global environment. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery , and you're confident influencing at senior levels.

You're known for your ability to cut through complexity, build trusted relationships, and deliver communications that make a real difference.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in senior internal communications or employee engagement roles .

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills , with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.

Strong track record of partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders .

Experience leading large-scale campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives .

Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment.

Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities .

A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge and shape thinking .

Flexibility to travel and work across global time zones where needed.
