Class 2 Driver

We're currently recruiting for a reliable and flexible Class 2 Driver to join a busy operation based in Garretts Green. This is a temporary vacancy, offering both adhoc and ongoing work, depending on candidate suitability.

What's on offer for a Class 2 Driver ?

• £15.00 per hour
• Temporary position with the opportunity to become ongoing
• 5-7 deliveries per day
• Delivering palletised goods
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
• Average shifts of 10-12 hours
• Start times between 05:00AM and 07:00AM

The Role for a Class 2 Driver

• Driving both Class 2 (Category C) and 7.5 Tonne vehicles
• Multi-drop deliveries of palletised freight
• Off-loading using a pump truck and tail lift
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

Requirements for a Class 2 Driver

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Minimum 1 year driving experience on licence
• Flexible and willing to drive both 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations

Your hourly pay rate is £15.00, and you will accrue £1.81 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
