Job Overview

Power Careers are looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers for temporary work based around the PO15 postcode area.

This role involves driving 26-tonne vehicles on delivery routes, with early morning starts and weekday shifts. The client is looking for reliable drivers who can help cover urgent requirements, with the possibility of ongoing work if the placement goes well.

Main Duties

• Driving a Class 2 / Category C vehicle
• Carrying out delivery routes safely and professionally
• Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Following delivery instructions and site procedures
• Working with depot or transport staff to keep routes moving
• Representing the agency and client professionally while on assignment

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous HGV driving experience
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• A professional attitude with customers, depot staff and site contacts

Useful Information

• Early start: 5:00am
• Approximate finish: 2:00pm
• Temporary role with possible ongoing work
• Based around PO15 and nearby areas
• Urgent cover required
