A welcoming and inclusive school in Camden is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a positive impact within education.
The Role -As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Assist students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Help manage behaviour positively and encourage student engagement
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Encourage students social, emotional, and academic development
- Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Can adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments
- Holds a degree or relevant childcare/support qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Is passionate about education and supporting vulnerable learners
