Financial Services Tax - Manager - International Tax and Transaction Services - London-Leeds
Your key responsibilities
Contributing to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service
Managing the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business-driven approach is taken
Identifying and driving opportunities by using knowledge gained from other projects, technical training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to add input to projects and proposals
Building strong client and internal relationships – developing and using relationship skills to create external and internal networks in the Banking, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management markets
Counseling and developing junior staff through delegation and on-the-job training
Skills and attributes for success

Coaching and developing more junior staff
To qualify for the role, you must have
Expertise in international tax
Any of the following preferred: ACA / CTA / legal qualification or equivalent
Experience coaching and developing more junior team members
Experience working with financial services clients
Self‐starter attitude and energy and enthusiasm to be successful in a high‐performing team
Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for maintaining client relationships, managing high‐quality work output, and developing the next generation of teams
Ideally, you'll also have
Project management skills – plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget, and manage multiple and varied stakeholders

Pre‐merger reorganisations and post‐merger integration
Optimisation of capital structure and financing
Managing the risk arising from global law change such as BEPS
Lobbying and negotiation with tax authorities in the UK and globally
