Events, Marketing and Internal Communications Intern
Risk 2 Solution Group is a leader in integrated risk management solutions, leveraging innovation and expertise to protect what counts. We are seeking motivated interns to join our next cohort, where they will gain hands‐on experience in events, marketing, and internal communications.

As an intern at Risk 2 Solution Group, you will engage in comprehensive activities across our events, marketing, and internal communications departments. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about event management, digital marketing, and corporate communications, and are eager to apply their knowledge in a dynamic, real‐world environment.

Key Responsibilities
Events:

Assist in the planning and execution of both online and in‐person events, ranging from small workshops to large conferences.

Get involved in significant industry events such as the Protective Security and Government (PSG) Conference 2025, Protective Security Summits, Transforming School Safety, Security and Risk Summits, and the Institute of Strategic Risk Management Summit 2025.

Handle participant registration and manage logistics planning.

Engage in sponsorship procurement, abstract management, and speaker management.

Coordinate exhibitions and ensure effective marketing communications for each event.

Marketing:

Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels tailored to various industries.

Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns and social media strategies.

Assist with content creation, scheduling, and management of social media platforms.

Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including landing pages, case studies, blog posts, and promotional content.

Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the company website, ensuring content is current and visually engaging.

Internal Communications:

Create and manage content for internal newsletters, targeted emails, and intranet updates to keep staff informed and engaged.

Coordinate communication efforts across departments to ensure consistent and coherent messaging.

Support internal events and initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement and enhancing company culture.

Gain practical experience in high‐profile event planning and execution.

Develop marketing skills in a professional setting.

Work with industry leaders in security and risk management.

Receive mentorship from experienced professionals.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a related undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Event Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Management, Design, Journalism).

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, and proofread at an advanced level; native or expert level proficiency required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

Basic knowledge of graphic design and content management systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Location: Remote, with required in‐person attendance on event days if the intern is located in the same city as the event.

Duration: Option of 30 working days over a 6‐7 week period, or a 3‐month internship working 3 days a week.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
