CLASS 2 DRIVER - FROZEN FOODS DISTRIBUTION | ME20, KENTWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established frozen foods distribution company based in ME20, Kent.This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, consistent hours, immediate start potential, and a competitive pay rate.Key DetailsLocation: ME20, KentPay Rate: £20.00 per hourStart Times: Between 4:00am - 6:00amShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, plus every other SaturdayShift Length: Approx. 10 hours (depending on runs)The RoleDelivering frozen food products to customers and distribution centresMulti-drop deliveries across London and the South, within Working Time RegulationsRoutes typically range from 5-6 drops initially, progressing up depending on experience and route planning,Drivers will not be started on high drop volumes immediately and may be buddied up during initial shiftsSome routes involve closely located drops (e.g. London areas), while longer-distance runs will have fewer dropsManual HandlingHandballing involvedOffloading required at each dropGoods include palletised stock and cratesNo cages usedRequirementsValid Class 2 (Category C) LicenceValid CPC Qualification CardValid Digital Tachograph CardGood understanding of driver hours and road transport regulationsReliable, professional attitude and strong work ethicInduction & StartInduction and paid training day provided tomorrowSuccessful candidates can move onto shifts from ThursdayFull onboarding support provided, including buddying where requiredIf you're an experienced Class 2 driver looking for steady work with a reputable frozen food's operation and immediate start potential, this is a great opportunity to get on the road quickly.If this is something you feel you would be interested in, please apply below or simple call Alex directly on 07570315844 for more information!Barker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
