About the job Staff Nurse (Weekend Nights) Experienced and compassionate RGN/RMN Staff Nurse for UK Nursing Home. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. Our ideal candidate will provide excellent care to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety and well-being while demonstrating empathy and compassion.
Responsibilities Deliver direct care and support to residents, including administering medication.
Liaise with healthcare professionals as needed.
Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans.
Supervise and manage other nursing staff and care assistants to ensure highest quality of care.
Follow all policies and procedures to provide person‐centered care.
Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required.
Handle emergencies and unexpected situations that may arise during shift.
Requirements NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
Minimum 1‐2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Compassionate and caring individual with empathy for residents' needs.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs.
