We have partnered with a dynamic, multi-brand group home to a portfolio of reputable global brands, operating across menswear and womenswear categories on a worldwide scale. We are looking for an ambitious and driven Junior Product Developer to join our fast-paced product team, supporting the development of exciting collections from initial concept through to bulk production. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their fashion career who is eager to learn, grow and make their mark within a collaborative and creative environment, working closely with Design, Technical, Sales and Marketing teams to bring beautiful products to life.Main Responsibilities Will Include:* Primarily working on Vera Wang and Ted Baker Sports & other group brands as required.
Across variouscategories of men's and womenswear from initial concept through to bulk samples. Assist and support the Senior Product Developer with the day-to-day duties. Collaborating with other functions when required: Design, Technical, Sales and Marketing. Day to day factory liaison - Being a point of contacts for suppliers/factories. Full critical path management from initial design through to finished product. Working on both Inline andSMU collections. Identifying key milestones and deadlines to ensure tasks are completed on time and in full.* Manage all product approvals from lab dips, strike off, bulk fabrics and trims.
Including Design and Technicalteams where necessary and sharing with Key Accounts on a SMU basis. Set up clear organised trackers and filing systems to stay on top of workload and outstanding approvals. Participate in weekly critical path meetings to review status of all ranges and implement solutions to keepdeliveries on schedule. Coordinate sample requests and shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to internal teams andexternal partners. Managing the in/outgoing samples along with past season archives creating a clear log. Attending fit sessions with Technical and PD teams for inline collections and SMU's Hang and prepare samples for fit meetings in order of priority and take notes when required. Manage sample in and out of the business and prepare DHL shipments. Conduct competitive shops and price analysis to ensure we remain in tune with our customer. Continuously assess and streamline administrative processes to optimise efficiency and productivity withinthe department. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and sustainable practises that could be incorporated into thebrands.Person Specifications: Currently working in the fashion industry. Minimum one to two years of product experience in apparel. Good Communication skills - verbal and written. Problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative and be self-driven. Some experience in dealing with overseas factories. Ability to deal with multiple data. IT Skills particularly MS Excel & Word Illustrator and competent with the ability to amend CADs, work withtech packs, measure fitting, etc.TPBN1_UKTJ
