Warehouse Flow Controller
Grade: RCS O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift Patterns: 4 on, 4 off – NIGHTS 18:30 – 06:30

Location: Derby – DE74 2BB

Role Overview
This role sits at the heart of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and quick resolution of any system or automation issues, helping us deliver excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Monitor automated warehouse systems, proactively identifying issues and escalating faults directly to engineering teams while communicating impacts and expected downtime to management.

Coordinate daily warehouse flow, including outbound operations, load allocation, and ensuring efficient movement of stock through the site.

Track and report outstanding orders, supporting operational visibility and ensuring timely dispatch performance.

Communicate planned maintenance activities and operational updates to relevant stakeholders across the site.

Manage a high volume of administrative and system‐based tasks, including responding to emails and liaising closely with warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in a warehouse administration or operational support role within a fast‐paced environment.

Experience with or oversight of warehouse automation systems and understanding of automated workflows.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a systems‐driven role.

Customer‐focused and able to prioritise service levels in a constantly changing environment.

Experience using warehouse systems (ideally Blue Yonder and Matflo) and strong communication skills to liaise with teams, engineers, and management.
