The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specialized in Middle and Senior Management search and selection, is recruiting on behalf of a Fruit Company specialized in the industrial processing of fruit for the B2B and B2C channels:
Business Sales Manager - Food / Ingredients UK
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities in target markets (UK), mapping out potential industrial clients for the sale of semi-finished products (purees, dried and dehydrated fruit, powders) and end consumers for the sale of finished consumer products.
- Manage and consolidate commercial relationships with acquired clients, ensuring consistent growth in sales volumes.
- Understand the technological and formulation needs of clients (R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Production) and propose suitable products.
- Independently manage commercial negotiations with large multinational clients in the food, pet food, and cosmetics sectors. Define specific supply contracts and long-term agreements, ensuring the right pricing and supply conditions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing regular reports to the Sales Management.
- Collaborate with Italian offices and foreign production sites.
- Manage and source traders or agencies within the assigned territory to better develop the client base.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a sales professional in the food ingredients / industrial raw materials sector (B2B).
- Possession of an active client portfolio or a consolidated network of contacts within food industries (bakery, dairy, confectionery, beverage) and/or agri-food traders in the UK, pet food, and cosmetics.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong result orientation, negotiation skills, proactivity, and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and participate in industry trade fairs.
