Job description

Senior Designer | Workplace Design & Build

London | Hybrid

£75,000 - £90,000 + commission

A highly respected workplace design and build studio is looking for an exceptional Senior Designer to join its growing London team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a designer with real presence, someone who combines creativity, commercial thinking, and design leadership to help shape and win outstanding workplace projects for an impressive client portfolio.

You’ll play a central role in developing bespoke, high-quality pitches and workplace concepts, working closely with clients, senior stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to create beautifully considered spaces that are both innovative and commercially astute.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and pitch process across a range of workplace projects, from early concept through to presentation and delivery.
  • Develop compelling design narratives, supported by drawings, finish boards, visuals, and presentation material of the highest standard.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to create elegant, strategically aligned workplace solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Design Director to maintain consistency, quality, and seamless delivery throughout project development.
  • Present ideas with confidence, articulating concepts clearly and persuasively to senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Guide project teams, bringing clarity, direction, and high standards to every stage of the process.
  • Ensure schemes are not only visually exceptional, but also commercially sound and profitable.
  • Contribute to an ambitious studio culture that values originality, collaboration, and design excellence.

About you

  • Strong background in workplace interiors, ideally within a design and build environment.
  • Proven experience leading pitches and presenting to high-profile clients.
  • Advanced skills in InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Confident, articulate, and comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance creative ambition, delivery, and profitability.
  • A genuine passion for interior design, with a sharp eye for detail and a clear point of view.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK workplace market, with experience working on London-based projects.

This is a standout opportunity for a designer ready to take the next step within a premium workplace design business where quality, creativity, and client impact genuinely matter.
