DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Rochdale, Manchester.

This role is a temporary to permanent position.

\n

Duties:

\n

Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently

\n

Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations

\n

Trunk deliveries within the UK

\n

Delivering/collecting palletised goods to other depots and Palletline sites

\n

Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up

\n

Full training will be provided

\n

Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance

\n

Requirements:

\n

Current and up to date CPC

\n

Current Digital Tachograph Card

\n

Minimum 2 years driving experience

\n

Curtain sided vehicle experience

\n

Pallet work experience

\n

UK road network essential

\n

Previous driving experience essential

\n

A good solid awareness of the law relating to driver's hours regulations and tachographs in order to be considered for this position

\n

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable

\n

You will have good communication skills, both customer and office and able to work using own initiative

\n

Awareness of Health & Safety

\n

Hours:

\n

Monday to Friday, start time 07:00 am

\n

Remuneration:

\n

£15.00 per hour
