Overview
We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This role requires on-site working during evenings and weekends at our London office in Kings Cross. You will work 2-3 days per week and will play a key part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex conditions. You will split time between on-site and remote work (three days on site and two days remote) and provide safe, effective and personalised treatment.

Responsibilities

Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.

Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.

Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.

Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.

Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.

Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.

Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

What we are looking for

GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification

At least 2 years prescribing experience

Experience working in a clinical setting

Knowledge of CBPM is desired but not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training

Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings

Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands

Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems

Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
