Job description
If you know how to win trust and business inside the NHS, and you're ready for a role where your commercial instincts directly shape a growing UK Medical division, this could be exactly what you're looking for.
MUST BE BASED IN SCOTLAND
The Company
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of medical and laboratory appliances, known for combining innovative product design with a genuine commitment to quality and sustainability. They supply Distributors, Direct accounts and the NHS, and have built a reputation as trusted partners to the healthcare sector rather than just another vendor. This is a business that invests in its people and its products, and is now looking to strengthen its regional sales capability.
The Role
As Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a SCOTLAND, managing and growing profitable sales, margin and commercial terms across Distributor, Direct and NHS accounts. You'll be equally focused on developing new business and nurturing existing relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to your customers rather than simply chasing the next order.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering against sales and margin targets, with full ownership of your regional strategy
- Building and executing new business development plans
- Managing customer partnerships and resolving issues with a solutions first mindset
- Delivering sales presentations, negotiating terms and shaping business plans with key accounts
- Feeding market and customer insight back into product development and NPI launches
- Maintaining accurate pipeline data, forecasting and weekly reporting
- Representing the business at trade shows, conferences and customer meetings
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 5 years' experience selling into the UK Medical market, or a closely comparable sector
- A strong understanding of how the NHS and medical distribution channels operate
- A track record of developing and delivering sales strategy, not just executing someone else's
- Sharp commercial and analytical skills, with real attention to detail
- Confident negotiation and presentation ability
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Experience growing a portfolio of new and existing accounts is a strong plus
If you enjoy the challenge of selling into a complex, high stakes environment like the NHS, and want genuine autonomy over how you win and grow your region, this is one to explore.
