Job description

StreetCleanerTocarryoutstreetcleansingoperationsacrossSomerset,toenhanceandmaintaintheenvironment,withlittledisruptiontocustomers.

StreetCleanerTocarryoutstreetcleansingoperationsacrossSomerset.Thisincludeslitterpicking,handsweeping,binemptying,flytipremovalandtoiletcleaning,aswellasotherreasonableduties.

CustomerServiceStreetCleaner

StreetCleanerTobeamemberofthestreetcleansingteam,carryingoutdutiesthatwillenhanceandmaintaintheenvironment,withlittledisruptiontocustomers.

Vehicleuseandmaintenance

Driveanon-LGVvehicleandmachineryasrequiredincarryingouttheaboveduties.

Carryoutbasiccareandmaintenanceofvehiclesandequipment,includingcheckingfluidlevels,tyrepressuresandwear,bulbsetc.andtomaintainvehiclesandequipmentinacleanandtidymanner.EnsuringtheDailyUserCheckiscompleted,andanydefectsfoundreportedtoyourareasupervisororOperationalManagement.

Reporting

Reportingbacktosupervisiononworkcompleted,andtheHealthandSafetyofthosethatmaybeaffectedbyyouractionsoromissions.

Takereasonablecareofyourownhealthandsafetyandthatofpeoplewhomaybeaffectedbywhatyoudo(ordonotdo);

Co-operatewithyouremployeronhealthandsafety,anddonotinterferewith,ormisuse,anythingprovidedforyourhealth,safetyorwelfare;

Followthetrainingyouhavereceivedwhenusinganyworkitemsyouremployerhasgivenyou.
