Description

Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers for ongoing trunking work across the UK.

We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers to carry out straightforward trunking operations with both day and night shifts available. This role involves clean and efficient depot-to-depot transport work, delivering to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations nationwide while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.

Day shifts generally involve 1 collection and 1 delivery, while night shifts focus mainly on HUB-to-HUB trunking routes with minimal handball involved. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while remaining compliant with driver hours and transport legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for ongoing regular work, flexible shift patterns, and competitive PAYE pay rates with support from a professional transport recruitment team.

• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Nights: £19.05 per hour
• Weekends: Up to £21.29 per hour
• Weekly PAYE pay directly through Millison Chase Limited
• Ongoing regular work available

• Completing 1 collection and 1 delivery per shift
• Delivering to RDC, NDC, and CDC locations across the UK
• Ensuring transport paperwork is completed accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

• Completing HUB-to-HUB trunking routes
• Carrying out clean and straightforward depot-to-depot work
• Operating vehicles safely and professionally at all times
• Following all drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and site staff

Applicants must hold:

• Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
• Good communication and timekeeping skills

Drivers should be:

• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible with working hours and shift patterns
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional in appearance and attitude
