Trainee Bus Driver

Lothian Country Buses - Livingston

£16.66 per hour (rising to £17.00) + Overtime

Start a new career as a Trainee Bus Driver with Lothian Country - no prior bus experience required.

With expert support from our in-house Training Team, you'll receive fully paid training and gain all the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to build a successful career behind the wheel.

The Role

As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will:

• Build confidence and experience through our comprehensive in-house training programme, working towards becoming a fully qualified Bus Driver.
• Drive our buses, ensure every journey is safe, reliable, and comfortable
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• A friendly and professional manner and good communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends (5 week rolling rota)
