JobPurposeRefuseDriver
Tosafelyoperaterefusecollectionvehiclesandsupporttheefficientcollectionofhousehold,commercial,andrecyclablewaste.TheRefuseDriverisresponsibleforensuringcollectionroundsarecompletedonschedulewhilemaintaininghighstandardsofsafety,customerservice,andenvironmentalcompliance.
KeyResponsibilitiesRefuseDriver
- Driveandoperaterefusecollectionvehiclesinaccordancewithroadtrafficlawsandcompanypolicies.
- Carryoutdailyvehicleinspectionsandreportanydefectsormaintenancerequirements.
- Completeassignedcollectionroutesefficientlyandsafely.
- Workcloselywithloadersandothercrewmemberstoensuresmoothwastecollectionoperations.
- Adheretoallhealthandsafetyprocedures,includingtheuseofappropriatePPE.
- Ensurewasteistransportedanddisposedofinaccordancewithenvironmentalregulations.
- Maintainaccuraterecords,includingvehiclechecks,collectionreports,andtimesheets.
- Provideaprofessionalandcourteousservicetocustomersandmembersofthepublic.
- Reportincidents,accidents,oroperationalissuestomanagementpromptly.
- Assistwithloadingdutieswhenrequired.

- Previousexperiencedrivinglargecommercialvehicles.
- Experienceworkinginawastemanagement,logistics,transport,orlocalauthorityenvironment.
- Knowledgeofsafedrivingpracticesandvehiclesafetychecks.
