Junior Graphic Designer / Project Manager

Job description

As part of our ongoing growth and development, we require a creative Graphic Designer / Project Manager to join our in-house design team producing artwork for manufacture, print, vinyl graphics & digital. The successful candidate will estimate/quote their own projects and see each project through to completion.

We are looking for a highly creative individual capable of designing logos and corporate literature, as well as having the ability to produce highly technical three-dimensional vehicle liveries and be confident enough to present, develop and finalise with a variety of clientele.

Benefits

Full time, 42.5 hours per week

Location: Office based 5 days a week

Working hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am – 16.30pm

Annual leave entitlement of 28days per annum, including bank holidays.

The Role
Creative duties include:

Creation of designs/layouts

Brand creation and implementation

Surveying vehicles and creation of technical drawings

Creation of print files from designs

Updates to social media platforms

Website updates

Photography

Project Management Duties Include

Estimating and quoting (as part of a team)

Dealing with clients

Following procedures (creation and processing of job files, payments)

Our Successful Candidate Requires

A degree-level qualification in Product or Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.

Advanced Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with particular focus on Adobe Illustrator

A strong aptitude for technical design and a keen eye for detail

The capability to take projects from the initial brief stage through to finished print-ready artwork/digital product

Be comfortable working off existing brand guidelines and client-supplied assets to provide creative and relevant content

To be comfortable communicating directly with a large range of clients in a professional and friendly manner, forging lasting relationships.

To work in a deadline-driven environment and be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills.

A varied portfolio of existing work demonstrating your creative and practical design skills.
