We're looking for a proactive and organised Pre-Construction Coordinator to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or pre-construction who wants to develop their technical, commercial, and client-facing skills within a collaborative environment.

You'll play a key role in supporting the pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to project handover, working alongside experienced professionals and building the skills needed to progress into a Pre-Construction Manager role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing cost plans and estimates using standard templates.
  • Carrying out site surveys and quantity take-offs.
  • Coordinating subcontractor enquiries and reviewing quotations.
  • Assisting with feasibility studies, buildability reviews, and project risk assessments.
  • Preparing license approval documentation and coordinating stakeholder submissions.
  • Developing and maintaining pre-construction programmes.
  • Supporting client presentations and tender submissions.
  • Coordinating project handovers to delivery teams.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a pre-construction, estimating, or quantity surveying role within construction or commercial fit-out.
  • Ability to produce cost plans and complete quantity take-offs.
  • Understanding of construction methods and commercial interiors.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Bluebeam Revu or Microsoft Project is advantageous.

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with JCT contracts.
  • Knowledge of landlord approval and license processes.

What You'll Bring

  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Commercial awareness and a willingness to learn.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Confidence working with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team where you'll gain exposure to every stage of the pre-construction process. You'll receive ongoing mentoring, take on increasing responsibility, and have a clear pathway for career progression as your experience grows.

If you're ready to develop your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
