Overview Facilities Engineer (Weekends) – Mars Wrigley, Plymouth (PL6 Estover).
Shifts: Sat & Sun rotating days and nights 6am – 6pm & 6pm – 6am + additional hours (32/36 hours per week).
Salary: £45,633 - £51,337 (inclusive of shift allowance).
Company performance bonus 8%.
Permanent.

What are we looking for? Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing industrial boilers, steam pipework and water systems.
Ability to troubleshoot various competencies: pneumatic, compressors, chillers, boilers and dehumidifiers with minimal guidance.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualifications such as served apprenticeship, HNC, NVQ or equivalent.
Excellent organisational and strategic planning skills.
Key responsibilities Monitor and operate all critical facility plant for factory operations including production air conditioning, boiler and steam supplies, and air compressor systems.
Work closely with the site reliability engineer, highlighting concerns and ideas for future asset investment; provide technical support for utility projects from planning through to implementation.
Plan and schedule all legal inspections within the facility department and maintain full documentation.
Manage reactive work, troubleshoot, and apply root-cause methodologies.
Facility contract management duties including completion of risk assessments.
Continuously improve the facility SAP PM system and ensure transactions are captured in SAP PM.
Drive reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
