HGV Class 1 ADR Driver - Irlam, ManchesterPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester.This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment.This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Tanker Driver.The HGV Class 1 ADR Driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to complete nights out.This is an ongoing position with the potential of a contract for the right candidate.Shifts:- Monday to Friday- Start times between 04:00 and 07:00Rates of Pay:- £19.00 per hour- £26.20 night out allowanceBenefits:- Potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate- Ongoing work- Weekly pay- Training provided- Immediate startsDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):- Safely transporting goods to client sites- Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks- Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures- Communicating effectively with the transport office- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptlyEssential Skills:To be successful as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will need:- A valid UK Category CE licence- A minimum of eighteen months' experience driving Category CE vehicles- A valid ADR licence- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes- A valid UK CPC card and Digi card- Good spoken and written English- Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills- A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations- Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience:- Previous commercial driving experienceTraining:- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughoutApply:If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
