Location: Bristol

Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Structural Design Engineer

The Role
As a Junior Structural Design Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of structural projects across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed‐use developments.

You'll gain exposure to all stages of project delivery, helping to develop your technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural engineering projects

Produce engineering calculations, drawings and technical reports

Support senior engineers with project delivery and coordination

Attend site visits and project meetings

Contribute to the development of practical and efficient design solutions

Continue developing your skills and experience as a Structural Design Engineer

Training, Development & Career Progression

Ongoing technical training and professional development

Mentoring from experienced Chartered Engineers

Full support towards ICE or IStructE Chartership

About You

A degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline

Approximately 1-2 years of experience within a structural engineering consultancy

Experience producing structural calculations and design work

Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

A desire to work towards Chartered Engineer status

A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning

Location
The role is based in Bristol. Applications are welcomed from candidates living within commuting distance or those willing to relocate to the area.
