Land Manager – Housebuilding.

Cheshire / Merseyside.

Basic Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Package + Bonus.

Cognisant Search has been instructed to appoint a Land Manager on behalf of a well-funded, highly successful housebuilder. The business delivers large-scale residential developments, benefits from strong financial backing, and is continuing to grow through a sustainable and strategic land acquisition programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Land Director, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, and the wider professional network.
• Identify and secure strategic residential development opportunities of approximately 100–500 plots across Cheshire and Merseyside.
• Lead the appraisal of potential sites, presenting recommendations to the senior leadership team and supporting schemes through acquisition and the wider development process.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of land opportunities within the region.

About You:

• Ambitious, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• 2–5 years' experience in land acquisition within the residential development or housebuilding sector, with a demonstrable track record of success.
• A proactive team player who wants to make a genuine contribution to the continued growth of a successful business.
