Are you passionate about accessories, trends, and product design? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic eyewear business that designs and manufactures sunglasses for leading UK high street and international retailers.

As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a Design Assistant to join their Richmond Upon Thames-based Design Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the full design and development process while building your career within a fast-paced, creative environment with genuine progression opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

✨ Supporting the design team from concept through to product development

✨ Researching catwalk, street style and seasonal trends

✨ Assisting with trend forecasting and collection development

✨ Creating technical drawings and development packs using Adobe Illustrator

✨ Managing samples and helping to organise the sample room

✨ Liaising with Far East factories throughout the sampling and development process

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience within a fashion accessories, eyewear or high street design team

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Good Excel skills

• A genuine passion for fashion, accessories and trend research

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills

• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
