Job description
Our client, a respected London-based design consultancy, is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer with proven experience in luxury hospitality projects. Known for creating refined, contemporary interiors with a strong European influence, the studio delivers exceptional work across the hospitality and high-end residential sectors.
Working as part of the design team, you will help develop creative concepts through mood boards, visual research, and initial 2D and 3D design proposals. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design to completion, producing both design and technical documentation using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
The role includes preparing detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, bespoke joinery details, and schedules for finishes, sanitaryware, and ironmongery. During construction, you will support project delivery by reviewing contractor information and responding to RFIs, ensuring the original design vision is maintained.
You will collaborate closely with consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders, assisting with project coordination from inception through to completion. Research into materials, suppliers, costs, and lead times will also form part of the role, supporting specification and design decisions. A solid understanding of hospitality design standards, operational requirements, and industry regulations is essential.
Applicants should have a strong track record delivering luxury hospitality interiors, including hotels, restaurants, and bars. Experience within a leading design studio is highly desirable, alongside expertise in bespoke joinery, interior detailing, and custom furniture and lighting design. Knowledge of specialist suppliers and fabricators is also important.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-focused designer to join a collaborative, design-led studio and contribute to the delivery of outstanding hospitality environments.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with one day per week working from home.
