Class 2 HIAB Driver Temp to Perm Tunbridge Wells£17.00-19.05 per hour (PAYE) | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start

Driver Hire Tonbridge is recruiting on behalf of a well-established builders' merchant in Tunbridge Wells for a Class 2 HIAB Driver on a temp-to-perm basis.

What You'll Receive

• £17.00-19.05 per hour (PAYE)

• Weekly pay every Friday

• Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift

• Holiday pay (accrued or rolled up your choice)

The Role

Working for a busy builders' merchant, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to trade and domestic customers throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

• Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB equipment

• Delivering a range of building materials to customer sites

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery

• Working closely with the branch team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently

Typical start times are between 0700-0730, Monday to Friday.

What We're Looking For

• Category C (Class 2) licence held for a minimum of one year

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Valid HIAB qualification (remote crane preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience delivering building materials is advantageous

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A reliable and professional approach to work
