Assistant Manager | Customer-Focused Retail | £30,000 - £31,500 | North Norfolk

We're recruiting for a well-established retailer that's passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating an enjoyable shopping experience. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a business where people, standards and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, leading from the front to inspire your team and deliver an outstanding customer journey. You'll have the autonomy to influence store standards, merchandising and overall presentation while ensuring commercial targets are achieved.

You'll be responsible for supporting all operational aspects of the business, driving sales performance, maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards and creating an engaging environment for both customers and colleagues. Coaching, developing and motivating your team will be a major part of the role, helping to build a positive culture and deliver consistent results.

What we're looking for:

• Previous management experience within a customer-focused retail environment

• A proven ability to lead, coach and develop large teams

• Experience within a multi-product or fast-paced retail setting is desirable

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and performance

• High standards of store presentation and operational excellence

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
