Class 1 Driver

Job description

Grafters Recruit Ltd is looking for experienced afternoon and nights Class 1 drivers for trunking ongoing work base in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

DUTIES:

• start times window available - 10:00-16:00 with weekend availability necessary
• LONG SHIFTS between 8-13 hours
• 45 MIN DEDUCTION FOR BREAKS

Each driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction and training for the role.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Valid C+E category on your driving licence, held for 3 months (insurance purposes)
• Minimum 3 months driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Valid driver CPC qualified
• Valid digi Tacho Card

Pay rates as follows:

Depending on your start time:

• Monday to Friday Early Start (00:00-06:00) £18.03ph
• Monday to Friday Day (start time window 06:00-18:00) £15.66ph
• Monday to Friday Night - (start time window 18:00-06:00) £17.64ph
• Day o/t - £19.61ph
• Night o/t - £21.98ph
• Saturday Early Start (00:00-06:00) £23.55ph
• Sat Day (06:00-18:00) - £21.18ph
• Sat Night - £23.53ph
• Sun Day (06:00-18:00)- £23.55ph
• Sun Night - £23.55ph
• Bank Hol Days - £31.32ph
• Bank Hol Nights - £35.28ph
• LST £4.47 extra per day
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
