Self-employed delivery driver

Job description

We are looking for reliable and motivated Man and Van Parcel Delivery Drivers to join our growing delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, transporting, and delivering parcels safely and efficiently to residential and business customers within your assigned area. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent time management, good communication skills, and a professional attitude when dealing with customers.

You will be expected to follow planned delivery routes, ensure parcels are handled with care, and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times. Previous delivery experience is beneficial, but full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements for the Role

* Full UK driving licence (required)

* Own van suitable for parcel deliveries (required for owner-driver positions)

* Valid motor insurance and relevant delivery/courier insurance

* Ability to lift and carry parcels safely

* Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems

* Reliable, punctual, and well organised

* Strong customer service and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and meet delivery targets

* Smartphone with access to delivery apps and GPS navigation

* Previous parcel delivery, courier, or driving experience is preferred but not essential
