Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join a specialist manufacturer of high-quality precision components, used in the semiconductor and photonics industry. With over 100 years of expertise, they operate complex manufacturing processes involving high-temperatures, flame fusion and industrial gases.
Reporting directly to the MD, this EHS Manager role will act as the site's EHS expert, ensuring legal compliance, driving best practice, and embedding a strong safety culture within a high-hazard manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience in a senior EHS position within manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Experience with COSHH, DSEAR, risk assessments, and high-hazard processes.
- Strong accident investigation and root cause analysis experience.
- Experience managing occupational health programmes.
- Experience delivering EHS training and driving positive safety culture change.
- Strong auditing, compliance, and management systems experience.
