Join the UK's leading provider of professional role players
Professional Role Players (PRP) is the UK's leading provider of professional role players, supporting healthcare education, examinations and training for over 28 years.
Working with medical schools, Royal Colleges, NHS organisations, regulators and healthcare providers across the UK and internationally, we deliver thousands of simulated patient sessions each year across face-to-face and online environments through our digital platform, Osler Online.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing operations team in a hybrid role, combining office-based collaboration with remote flexibility.
Please note: This is not an IT, software or technical project management role. It is a fast-paced operational delivery position focused on managing client projects, coordinating people and resources, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
If you enjoy working with people, solving operational challenges, juggling multiple priorities and delivering outstanding client experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Every day is different.
You'll manage multiple client projects simultaneously, coordinating freelance role players, managing client accounts and working with a small operations team to deliver high-quality healthcare education and examination programmes across the UK.
You'll take ownership of designated client accounts from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to a high standard and with exceptional customer service.
This is a fast-paced role where priorities can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, solutions-focused and enjoys taking ownership.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for:
· Taking ownership of the end-to-end operational delivery of multiple client projects across the UK.
· Acting as the primary point of contact for designated client accounts.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service throughout each project.
· Planning and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
· Recruiting, booking and scheduling freelance role players from our nationwide network.
· Matching role players to client requirements, ensuring quality, suitability and availability.
· Monitoring live projects, responding proactively to operational challenges and resolving issues as they arise.
· Identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and enhance the client and role player experience.
· Working collaboratively with fellow Project Managers, the Assistant Project Manager and Administration Team to deliver exceptional client service.
· Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to the continuous improvement of PRP's systems and processes.
We're Looking For Someone Who
· Exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail.
· Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Calm, adaptable and solutions-focused under pressure.
· An excellent communicator who builds strong client relationships.
· Proactive, takes ownership and uses initiative.
· A collaborative team player with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
· Confident using Microsoft Office, databases and digital platforms, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Essential Experience
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Healthcare education or medical examinations
- Events or programme management
- Recruitment or talent coordination
- Workforce planning or scheduling
- Client account management

- Learning and development
If you have transferable operational experience from another sector and can demonstrate excellent organisation, stakeholder management and service delivery, we'd also love to hear from you.
