Student Liaison & Engagement Assistant

£25 Per Year

Job description

Your Role

At Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, excellence isn't an aspiration - it's our standard. Proudly rated "Outstanding" in all areas by Ofsted, with no recommendations for improvement, we are a thriving and ambitious college where dedicated staff and a vibrant student community come together to achieve exceptional results.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and driven individual to join our Recruitment and Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in how we tell our story, engage with our community, and inspire prospective students to choose QE.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our engagement and promotion activity. You will support the planning and delivery of events, campaigns, and outreach initiatives that connect with prospective students and their families, while showcasing the outstanding opportunities available at the College. Working as part of a forward-thinking team, you will help ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards and strong reputation we are known for.

We are looking for someone who is a confident and natural communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to engage a wide range of audiences. You will be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively, bringing energy, creativity, and attention to detail to everything you do. This role would suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and who is passionate about making a difference in education.

When you join QE, you become part of a supportive and collaborative team where your ideas are valued and your development matters. We offer high-quality in-house coaching and mentoring, access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, and strong links across Trust and local Darlington networks. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an environment that has a real and lasting impact on young people's lives.

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students. All roles require an enhanced DBS check, and online checks will be carried out for shortlisted candidates. We value diversity and actively promote equality of opportunity. As a Disability Confident employer, we guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria.
