Responsibilities

  • Preparation of tax efficient wills
  • Inheritance tax mitigation and asset protection advice
  • Use of lifetime trusts, often in connection with Family Investment Companies
  • Administration of estates
  • Administration of trusts
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Applications to the Court of Protection

Qualifications

We are looking for an established Wills, Trusts & Probate Partner with strong private client experience at either a national or top tier regional firm.

Candidiate must have exceptional knowledge of all areas of probate law and be able to provide high quality advice to a range of clients. The successful candidate will play a lead role on clients' matters and supervise junior members of the team. Ideal candidates will have high quality connections in the market, a degree of client following, and be STEP qualified.

Candidates should demonstrate high levels of technical skill, strong client relationships, and the ability to promote the WTP team and other legal services to existing and new target clients, and to obtain referrals.

The position suits someone with a good academic background and training who wishes to further develop their career in a professional, team‑oriented environment while maintaining high work standards.
