Placr Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market-leading medical company in the Portslade area in their search for an experienced General Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven leader with Sales Director-level experience, a strong financial background, and proven success within the medical or healthcare sector. You'll play a pivotal role in driving business performance, leading day-to-day operations, and supporting the company's continued growth.

The successful candidate will take ownership of operational excellence, financial performance, customer and supplier relationships, quality and regulatory compliance, and team leadership. Working closely with the Directors, you'll help shape strategy while ensuring the business continues to deliver exceptional service within a regulated medical environment.

What we're looking for:

• Senior leadership experience at General Manager, Sales Director, Operations Director or similar level.
• Strong commercial acumen with a solid finance and budgeting background.
• Previous experience within the medical devices, healthcare, life sciences or regulated medical sector.
• A proven ability to drive business growth, improve operational performance, and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
