Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions

Between £120,000 and £180,000 Per Month

Job description

The firm is recruiting a Managing Director to lead its M&A practice. The role carries P&L responsibility, oversight of mandate origination and execution, and senior representation of the firm to its principal client base.

Managing Directors at the firm operate as principals. The role is structured for senior practitioners who want the autonomy to build a practice, with the brand, infrastructure, and proprietary network of an established advisory firm behind them, and a compensation structure aligned to ownership.

The expectation is a substantive existing book, sustained execution credibility in the relevant market, and the seniority to engage at principal-to-principal level on the most significant transactions.

Requirements

  • 15+ years' relevant experience at the most senior level of the relevant practice area
  • Substantive existing book of clients and a recognised market presence
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and team leadership
  • Principal-to-principal credibility with families, sovereign investors, and large allocators
  • Right to work in the relevant jurisdiction
