Job description

The Head Teacher and Governors of Parkhead Community Primary seek to appoint a motivated, caring and suitably experienced HLTA to join our friendly and dynamic team as soon as possible. The role involves carrying out all duties required within the HLTA job description across the whole of the school.

You should:

• Have a positive outlook and work effectively within a team

• Be supportive and nurturing
• Be committed to partnership working and to ensuring every child reaches their full potential
• Have communication skills to respond to the needs of all children

• Understand the National Curriculum for Early Years, KS1 and KS2 and know what excellent teaching and learning looks like within our environment
• Be patient and have a good sense of humour
• Be willing to go the extra mile for the children in their care
• Have to apply for Enhanced Disclosure and conduct safeguarding procedures
