Private Client Tax Senior Manager

A respected firm in Ipswich is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax team. You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio that includes high-net-worth individuals, landowners, family trusts, estates, and entrepreneurs. This is a role that values both your technical skills and your ability to build trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing complex tax returns across individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Providing proactive advisory on areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains, IR35, property structuring, and succession planning.
• Delivering high-quality client work and playing a key role in supporting and developing junior team members.
• Handling HMRC enquiries and contributing to broader client strategies and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified (or close to it) with strong experience in private client tax.
• Collaborative mindset and confidence to manage relationships with clients and colleagues.
